Nia Jax’s WWE Royal Rumble Comeback Reignites Her Love for Wrestling

Nia Jax was truly a force to be reckoned with during her time in WWE, as there was no one who was more physically imposing than her on the women’s roster. She was released by WWE back in 2021 and largely stayed away from the company since then. Jax came back during the Royal Rumble this year and it appears she got the wrestling bug back after her return.

Nia Jax made a surprising comeback as a surprise entrant in the Women’s Royal Rumble match. Entering as the 30th entrant, she amazed the crowd in attendance, but many fans also showered her with boos for good measure.

Several women had to work together in order to remove Nia Jax from the match, much to the relief of fans as they were worried Jax was going to win the whole thing. That said, Jax was also happy that people actually remembered her during the match.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Nia Jax talked about her appearance in the Women’s Royal Rumble match. Jax admitted that competing again after so long helped regain her interest in pro wrestling.

I did catch the bug again when I got in the ring. I was like, ouu, this feeling, this adrenaline that pumps through you, you know? I was breathing super hard before I went out and you know, Kasama (WWE producer) was backstage helping me breathe through it and I had a bunch of the guys come by and give me a hug and so when my music hit, that feeling of, oh sh*t, what the hell was I thinking? Let’s go. I did catch the bug after being in the Rumble which I was like, ah, maybe coming back would be a cool thing. I mean, if the people do remember me and the only thing I’d wanna do is to come back and help anybody out I could. I would love to add to the division. It would be something that I would love to do.

Nia Jax also lost ton of weight thanks to Charlotte Flair. With Jax being in the best shape of her life, it remains to be seen whether we will get to see her in a WWE ring again in the future.
