WWE is holding another Draft, and they will start that process very soon. Since WWE wants to build hype for the two-night event, the company is going to do what they can to drive hype.

This year’s WWE Draft will get started on the April 28th episode of SmackDown and finish up on the May 1st episode of Monday Night Raw. That only gives fans a few weeks left with the current rosters. There are also some very notable names missing from the 2023 WWE Draft graphic.

According to a note from PW Insider Elite, WWE will tease some major draft action this week. It was not noted exactly what will happen, but a segment with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn is expected.

Expect WWE Draft teases and a segment building the Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn vs. Usos Wrestlemania rematch for next week on tonight’s SD broadcast.

It was also noted that Drew McIntyre will not be on SmackDown this week. Ringside news exclusively reported that the Scottish Warrior is out of action with an injury.

Also, it was noted that Matt Riddle is scheduled to appear again this week.” We’ll have to see how the Original Bro’s presence plays into things.

Only time will tell how this plays out on television. We will have complete coverage of WWE SmackDown right here at Ringside News.
