WWE SmackDown is set to air live tonight from the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio, as the build for Backlash continues. WWE is promoting a “Title Town” theme for tonight’s episode, with several title matches on the card.
The WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER will defend his title against Xavier Woods, while WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan will make their first title defense against Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green.
In addition, the feud between Shinsuke Nakamura and Karrion Kross is expected to continue tonight, as well as The LWO vs. The Judgment Day. The broadcast will also feature build-up for the planned Backlash bout between Zelina Vega and SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley.
WWE has announced a card for tonight’s episode, which includes The Viking Raiders facing Braun Strowman and Ricochet. The show will also feature an appearance from Matt Riddle.
Fans can expect WWE Draft teases and a segment building the Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn vs. Usos Wrestlemania rematch for next week on tonight’s SmackDown broadcast. As always, the show promises to be action-packed and full of surprises.
