WWE Has WrestleMania Main Event Plans For NXT Superstar

WWE has a lot of plans in place, but you never know when that might change. Their NXT roster has a ton of potential, with different stars possessing certain aspects that could turn them into big time main roster attractions. This is the case for Von Wagner, because WWE sees big things for him.

Von Wagner’s real name is Cal Bloom, son of Wayne Bloom, who wrestled as Beau Beverly of the Beverly Brothers. This fact was recently brought up by Von Wagner himself on NXT television as he reminded Robert Stone that he belongs in pro wrestling.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer spoke about WWE’s goal for Von Wagner. The second-generation Superstar has a lot of potential, and they see big things in his future, even WrestleMania main events.

“He’s tall, he’s got blond hair, they want him to main event WrestleMania, but you need charisma to get to that level.”

Von Wagner entered into WWE with a big spotlight on him. Many thought that him and Bron Breakker would be the two breakout stars for NXT. While Bron Breakker’s success is undeniable in NXT, Von Wagner hasn’t seen the fastest rise to superstardom just yet.

Only time will tell what’s in WWE’s plan for Von Wagner. He can talk and he has a Superstar look. He just needs to be given that extra special piece of something that will help him connect with fans.
