Matt Jackson suffered an injury during his last match on AEW television. That torn bicep injury might not have part of the plan, but it is healing up nicely.

The Young Bucks didn’t take a lot of time off television, either. After writing an injury angle for Nick Jackson too, that wrote them off Dynamite only to return a very short time later to continue their television angles.

During this week’s episode of Being the Elite, Matt Jackson provided a bit of an update on his injury recovery. The Young Bucks member said that he is getting “shockwave therapy” on his arm. He’s feeling much better. In fact, Matt Jackson said that he felt like he could go in the ring.

“Usually, at the end of the loop, we all drive home together.

This week, I have to go head back to (Los Angeles) and get some more shockwave therapy on my arm.

“It’s feeling pretty good, though, all things considered … I felt like I could wrestle after last night.”

We’ll have to see how long Matt Jackson is out of action. He did return to AEW Dynamite last week, but he might not be out of the woods yet. Thankfully, he didn’t have to undergo any surgery to help repair his arm.

The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega are also in the rumor mill big time thanks to CM Punk. It is reported that Punk has ideas for his return, but The Elite might not be too keen on working with the Second City Savior.

What’s your take on AEW letting stars return to television before they’re medically cleared? Is it good to keep them on television when while they’re injured? Sound off in the comments!
