Goldberg’s boy was the reason he returned to WWE so many years ago. The former WCW World Champion made that very clear in his speech on RAW after his WrestleMania return. Now, so many years later, Goldberg is upset with WWE over not getting that retirement match he wanted so much. His son is also getting older and making decisions about his own future.

The last time we saw Goldberg’s son, Gage, he was much bigger. The boy became a young man, and he looked to be built like his father. That brought up a lot of questions about whether they might have another pro wrestler in the family.

While speaking to The Ticket, Goldberg was asked about whether his son will become a pro wrestler like him. At this time, Gage is an athlete like his old man, but he’s not putting on pro wrestling boots right now.

“He’s a football player. He’s an athlete. He’s, you know, he has been behind the scenes and has partaken in a little bit of what we do. And I mean, for him it’s just like another feather in his cap. He doesn’t place a lot of stock in it. I don’t want to crush anybody’s dreams, but, you know, he’s on a mission right now.

It looks like Goldberg’s son is a football player, just like his father. Only time will tell if he makes the same transition over to pro wrestling like his dad did many years ago. Should Goldberg’s son want to join WWE, he certainly knows who to call.

Only time will tell if Goldberg’s son makes a name for himself in pro wrestling. He would have some massive shoes to fill, that’s for sure.

What’s your take on Goldberg’s son becoming a pro wrestler? Do you think he can be better than his dad? Sound off in the comments!
