Lacey Evans is undoubtedly one of the most captivating personalities in WWE today. The former Marine has proven herself to be a highly skilled and dynamic talent in the ring, but that hasn’t really helped her much as of late. Now it appears that WWE was blasted for their baffling booking of Lacey Evans.

Lacey Evans made a huge impact after debuting on the main roster on December 17, 2018. She eventually got engaged in a feud with Charlotte Flair in 2021, but WWE nixed those plans after she had to take maternity leave.

After returning to WWE television last year in April, Lacey Evans has changed brands and underwent numerous gimmick changes. Fans felt that this ended up killing whatever momentum Evans had.

While speaking on Jim Cornette’s Drive-Thru podcast, Jim Cornette talked about Lacey Evans’ current state in WWE. Cornette was simply baffled by how poorly Evans was booked and blasted WWE for the same.

“She’s great, she’s got the size, she looks great. She has the demeanor and the facials. She can talk like a b**ch. What a great heel she’s been. And then she disappeared again. And stop and start, back and forth. I don’t know. I don’t know what the problem has been, I don’t know why they have stopped and started this girl and gave her umpteen different personalities. It’s the most baffling thing I’ve ever seen.

She would be a no-brainer of anybody on the WWE female roster. Past Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley, Lacey Evans is the one that I would take next trying to figure out something to do with.”

Lacey Evans was last seen on the March 24 episode of Friday Night Smackdown, where she partnered up with Xia Li and lost to Natalya and Shotzi. We’ll have to wait and see whether WWE will give Evans a proper run eventually.
