Pro wrestlers put their bodies on the line every time they step in the ring. You never know when an injury can pop up, and it seems that an unexpected roadblock has occurred for Fenix.

PW Insider noted that Fenix has not been cleared to wrestle at this time. He was not preset at AEW Dynamite this week either, and he’s not booked for Sunday’s AAA Triplemania event.

It is reported that the word going around is that Fenix is “banged up.” No specific injury was noted, but Fenix has always been close to the vest about his injury status, often working through injuries if he can.

Since Fenix has worked through so many issues in the past, we’re hoping that this isn’t bad enough to keep him out of action for long. He is 1/2 of the ROH Tag Team Champions as well, retaining those titles over QT Marshall and Powerhouse Hobbs at Battle of the Belts.

We’re hoping for the best in this situation. Obviously, an injury was not in Fenix’s plans, but he will likely be back in action the moment he is cleared.

What’s your take on this injury? Are you worried about the ROH World Tag Team Titles now? Sound off in the comments!
