Matt Riddle was written off WWE television last year thanks to a beat down from Solo Sikoa. That was not the real reason that he needed to take time off, because the Original Bro failed Wellness Policy test and he needed rehab. Now that he’s back, Riddle is able to tell his story.

WWE saw Matt Riddle return on the RAW after WrestleMania. It appears that Riddle will pick up right where he left off, but without Randy Orton. This was a big post WrestleMania surprise for his fans.

WWE uploaded a video of Riddle to give fans a special look into his journey. This five-minute long documentary short is a must-watch for any of the Original Bro’s followers.

Matt Riddle was shown on his tour bus speaking candidly to the camera. He explained that he needed to take that time off, and focus on himself. He had injuries and admitted that he was “grinding for so long that I couldn’t hit reset.”

Now that Matt Riddle is back, he wants to show off his serious side. He’s been training hard during his time off, got his black belt, and he’s ready to show the WWE Universe a side of him that they haven’t witnessed before.

The documentary showed Matt Riddle preparing for his big WWE comeback. “Living the dream, dude,” Riddle commented as he said that he “felt good” and was “ready to go.”

The Crypto.com Arena was packed for the RAW after WrestleMania, but they didn’t know Riddle was a part of the deal. Obviously, they popped huge for Riddle’s return, which we all saw live on television when it took place.

After Matt Riddle’s return to RAW was over, the documentary followed him to the Gorilla Position. Plenty of people were very happy to see him back, fully recovered, and ready to go. It seems that he is starting this stint in WWE with a clear mind and determination to show what he can do.
