WWE fans had a lot of expectations for WrestleMania, but those who wanted to see LA Knight were left a bit disappointed. The former Eli Drake did not appear at WrestleMania at all, despite the fact that he promised he would be on the show. It seems his status for SmackDown this week is set, but it’s anyone’s guess how that might change as well.
Vince McMahon’s return to power saw him slash up the script for WWE RAW this week. We’ll have to see how he treats SmackDown, because LA Knight is listed for the show.
A new tweet from WRKD Wrestling noted that LA Knight is currently set for a segment on SmackDown this week. Apparently, Xavier Woods will also be involved.
LA Knight is currently slated to be featured on #SmackDown tomorrow in a segment with Xavier Woods.
LA Knight was one of Triple H’s handpicked guys in NXT for a while, but he never got an NXT Title run. Vince McMahon called him up to the main roster and made him a male model manager. That didn’t last long, because Triple H soon brought back the LA Knight character.
Now that Vince McMahon is back in charge of WWE creative, it’s very possible that he will keep booking people in the same way. Although LA Knight did a lot on television to prove McMahon otherwise, the jury is still out on whether Vince McMahon will ever change his mind about LA Knight.
