CM Punk Goes Above & Beyond For Injured AEW Star

CM Punk hasn’t been seen in AEW since All Out, He was injured during that event anyway, so a surgery would have seen him take time off. That being said, the brawl he and Ace Steel had with The Elite didn’t help matters. As fans wait to hear anything from Punk, it seems he is very much still a part of one AEW star’s life.

Danhausen is out of action with a pectoral injury. His absence from AEW television was noticed by his fans, and his good friend CM Punk also wants to make sure he’s doing okay.

The very nice, very evil AEW star logged into Twitter, and he blew CM Punk’s cover for all those fans who think he’s 100% a jerk. Although Danhausen stated that CM Punk is likely to be pretty upset about him sharing this information, he revealed that Punk bought him a “holy grail” Spider-Man comic book for his collection as a get-well soon gift. Also, CM Punk has contacted Danhausen every day to check on him during a very tough time in his life.

I’ve had a rough month with everything going on and a great friend of mine Pepsi Phil surprised me today with my holy grail collectible in an unspeakable act of kindness amongst other suspected unspeakable acts of kindness. He’ll be mad that I posted this. IDC this is my revenge.

One more note, this man has checked on me literally every single day since I got injured and since the loss of my cousin to make sure I’m okay aside from normal friend talk. So has @Brodyxking (he will bully me).

Danhausen has a very large collection of comic books and action figures. He has shown them off in many videos, and fans often send him things, so he can bulk up his collection. Receiving a gift like this from CM Punk was obviously a very special thing, and it needed to be posted.

We’ll have to see if and when CM Punk shows up in AEW again. Although he might have some heat in the locker room, it’s apparent that Danhausen would love to have “Pepsi Phil” back around.
