CM Punk has been at the center of controversy for the majority of his wrestling career. The Best in the World has become a heat magnet in pro wrestling because of his troubling personality and questionable actions over the past few years. While he remains absent from AEW television, it seems some believe that CM Punk needs too listen and change in order to make his AEW return.

After the AEW All Out event, CM Punk made some scathing remarks during a media scrum where he criticized fellow wrestlers Colt Cabana, Hangman Page, and The Young Bucks. The ramifications of the brawl that ensued afterwards are still being felt in AEW.

CM Punk caused another storm after he went on scathing rant in his now-deleted Instagram story. In his story, the Second City Saint targeted Jon Moxley, Dave Meltzer and Chris Jericho.

This ended up souring his relationship with Tony Khan again, as the two parties were in the process of reconciliation before the Instagram rant. Of course, things between them are no longer as positive.

While speaking on a recent episode of the Keepin it 100 podcast, Konnan was asked what advice he would give Tony Khan to resolve the CM Punk dilemma. Konnan stated that Punk needs to listen and change himself in order to make his AEW return.

Yeah, I would bring him back … you’ve got to fix those, bro. I work with people I don’t like, what am I going to do, quit my job? … Sit down and you have a face-to-face. ‘Hey, you’re coming back, but understand, you rub people the wrong way because of this. Do you want to fix it or not.

Then it’s up to him. You know it takes two to tango here. When people are telling you to your face, your boss and people that you hopefully respect tell you, ‘Hey, you know you’re f**king up,’ you should be smart enough to listen and change if you need to change.”

Chris Jericho also hit back at CM Punk for calling him liar and a stooge. Regardless, we will have to wait and see whether The Second City Saint will ever make his comeback to AEW.
