John Cena has snagged plenty of choice roles in Hollywood so far, and it appears that he is also attached to a huge project coming up. Barbie is a globally known property, just like John Cena, and he apparently landed a role in the new movie.

The Barbie Movie will star Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, but an all-star cast will join Barbie and Ken on their adventure. When the new trailer dropped today, fans were shocked to see John Cena in the mix.

Warner Bros. Pictures and Mattel Films are joining forces to produce the first live-action film based on the iconic Barbie doll. Barbie has been in movies before, but they’ve always been animated.

John Cena had a busy year for the actor. He will also be appearing in “Fast X,” where the shoo-in WWE Hall of Famer will reprise his role as Jakob Toretto. He also has a gig on “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem,” where he will provide his voice to the character of Rocksteady.

John Cena recently made a high-profile return to WWE, appearing on the March 6th episode of WWE Raw. He later accepted a match against Austin Theory for the WWE United States Championship at WrestleMania 39. John Cena lost that match, but it’s pretty clear that he can’t stick around WWE for long anymore.

The upcoming Barbie movie is expected to be a Hollywood blockbuster. Both Warner Bros. and Mattel are going all-out to make sure it is a success. With Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach on board to write the script, and John Cena set to take on a role, “Barbie” is already generating significant buzz and anticipation.

What’s your take on this new John Cena role? Are you more excited about the Barbie Movie now than you were already? Sound off in the comments!
