During the media scrum following WrestleMania, Triple H was asked about how this year’s WrestleMania was different with a changing of the guard. Triple H was very blunt about the fact that this year’s WrestleMania event certainly felt different.

I think for this team, this year, for everyone who was a part of it, because this was a massive amount of team work. When you get to do this in a new way, because you were able to do without the guiding force that was there before.

All of us are thrust into the position of, ‘this is your WrestleMania.’ There’s no one that’s been doing it for 40 or 50 years to rely on so much.’ I think for a lot of people it felt different this year in a real geat way and to take those reins and get there, and it was awesome. I couldn’t be more proud of this team and everyone who stepped up to another level.

Interestingly enough, Vince McMahon was backstage at WrestleMania, and he was calling the action on the headset.

WrestleMania’s first night was a success, and it seems that WWE might have some big surprises planned for night 2 as well. Only time will tell how the show of shows is remembered in history, but Triple H’s team brought everything they could to the table in SoFi Stadium.
