The Rock Teases WWE Return To Confront The Bloodline

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is a renowned figure in the world of professional wrestling and maintains a strong connection to the industry despite his flourishing career in Hollywood. He is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in pro wrestling and fans wanted to see him back in WWE. In fact, The Rock teased making his return to WWE to confront The Bloodline.

Wrestling fans were eagerly anticipating a match between Roman Reigns and The Rock at WrestleMania for a long time, as the company had constantly dropped teases for the same for well over a year.

However, the match was never booked at the Show of Shows. The Rock simply couldn’t be ready in time to wrestle at WrestleMania 39. That said, fans never gave up hope for a future match between the two.

The Great One took to Twitter and uploaded a video, where he sent words of encouragement and praise to his fellow WWE Superstars ahead of WrestleMania 39. Interestingly enough, The Rock would go on to tease making his WWE return in order to confront The Bloodline.

I gotta tell you, I’m so excited for not only all the matches, but, especially the main event with my cousin Roman Reigns, the Universal Champion. My entire family, the entire Bloodline – Jey, Jimmy, Solo, we’re so proud of you guys. Kick ass, electrify So-Fi Stadium. Do what you do, it’s in our blood. Who knows? Maybe, just maybe down the road, I’ll see you in person. I’ll just leave it at that.

We will have to wait and see whether The Tribal Chief will be squaring off against The Rock somewhere down the line. With this tease, fans are certainly more excited than ever for their eventual bout.
