Rhea Ripley walked into WWE’s biggest show of the year with a big goal in mind. Her on-screen boytoy, Dominik Mysterio, had his own match at WrestleMania against Rey Mysterio. Rhea Ripley spoke to Ariel Helwani backstage at WrestleMania after her big SmackDown Women’s Title win. She was asked about Dominik Mysterio’s match against Rey Mysterio and why she wasn’t around to help him, but The Nightmare admitted that she didn’t have a chance to even watch it.

“I didn’t get to watch Dom Dom’s match, otherwise I would have probably tried to go out there to save him. I was too busy in my own head, trying to get myself prepared for this massive match that I knew I was going to have with Charlotte Flair.”

Rhea Ripley was very busy on WrestleMania Saturday, especially during the show. It also made sense to keep her out of that match, because it might have dampened her pop before coming out for her big WrestleMania moment.

We’ll have to see how Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley progress from here. They could have two totally different destinations, since Dominik is not going to stop his feud with Rey Mysterio, and Rhea is now the SmackDown Women’s Champion.

What’s your take on Rhea Ripley’s big WrestleMania win? Would you have helped Dominik Mysterio out if you were her? Sound off in the comments!
