Bobby Lashley was supposed to battle Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 39. This match was nixed, because Wyatt had to take weeks off due to a physical issue. It seems that the Almighty will still be around.

Sean Sapp reported behind Fightful’s paywall that it seems that WWE is still setting things up for Bobby Lashley. He won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on SmackDown, and that trophy will be at the showcase of the immortals.

The Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal Trophy was sent over from Staples Center to SoFi Stadium today. We’re told it’s supposed to be involved in an entrance, which would indicate Lashley’s involvement

After his open WrestleMania challenge, Bobby Lashley might just get that wish. We’ll just have to see who accepts that challenge.

Bobby Lashley makes a fine babyface or a heel, so only time will tell how he will be presented at WrestleMania. This is a special time for any Superstar to get time on the grandest stage of them all, and Bobby Lashley doesn’t seem like he will miss it.
