WWE has a ton of intellectual property that they can draw from when they want to. It seems that fans will see the return of another iconic logo that is also connected to a legendary stable.

Dominik Mysterio and Rey Mysterio are set to throw down during the first night of WrestleMania, and Rey is also receiving his WWE Hall of Fame induction tonight. It seems that WWE is going to go back to the past a bit. While it isn’t confirmed whether this will take place at WrestleMania or the Hall of Fame, the Latino World Order is making somewhat of a return.

Sean Sapp reported behind Fightful’s paywall that, “there could be some Latino World Order elements involved in an upcoming WWE show.” It turns out that the LWO could make a return during the showcase of the immortals.

Fightful Select has learned that WWE has brought in several lWo shirts for an upcoming segment on WWE programming, set to be filmed tonight. We can’t confirm whether that will be on Smackdown, the WWE Hall of Fame, or filmed for digital or future use. However, there was a request made to have lWo gear or shirts sent to the site for use in a segment. Those we spoke to indicated that it was supposed to be a “presentation style situation” in Rey Mysterio’s locker room.

It was also noted that the outlet recently spoke with Santos Escobar and Cruz Del Toro, “who confirmed that they were looking to honor other historic luchadores in the near future. Specifially they noted Blue Panther, the Villanos and other, but didn’t mention the lWo at least in our interview.” We’ll have to see what happens.

Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio’s segment at WrestleMania could very well include some nostalgia. Only time will tell what they end up doing, but a return of the faction to WWE television might be a very interesting idea as well.

What’s your take on WWE bringing back the LWO? Are you excited about the possibilities of this? Sound off in the comments!
