Dominik Mysterio has been involved in a storyline with The Judgment Day ever since he betrayed his father and Edge last year. He has been paired up with Rhea Ripley a lot since then, and fans are starting to like his character now. That being said, it seems Dominik Mysterio has a better relationship with The Judgment Day than his father Rey Mysterio.

Dominik Mysterio started his WWE career under his father. In fact, they even went on to win the SmackDown Tag Team Championships. That’s all in the past now as Dominik is currently part of The Judgment Day.

Following a short stint in jail as part of his storyline, Dominik Mysterio returned with a whole new look, as many called him Prison Dom. For the most part, fans are beginning to like his heel character now.

While speaking with Firstpost, Dominik Mysterio talked about the reason why he betrayed his father. Mysterio then stated that he has a better relationship with The Judgment Day than his father Rey Mysterio.

“It was very frustrating to work with my dad coz he didn’t always understand where I came from or what I wanted, or understood what was going through my head. But, don’t get me wrong, I did enjoy the time when I was able to soak in all the knowledge from him.a

But I think it’s different being able to work with a group like the Judgement Day because we’re not family but we are like one. We treat each other like family, we all hang out, we’re like family, so I think the dynamic there is definitely of a family dynamic. It just definitely works out for us.”

Dominik Mysterio will b squaring off against his father Rey Mysterio at WrestleMania 39. We will have to wait and see whether Dominik will end up beating his father in the end.

What are your thoughts on Dominik Mysterio’s betrayal of his father and his current character as a member of The Judgment Day? Do you think his dynamic with the group is better than with his family? Leave a comment.
