During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer spoke about the current WrestleMania card, and one team they added to the women’s tag four-way match this week. While it wasn’t noted what the issue is, it seems that something caused WWE to replace Carmella.

Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville ended up being the final team, which tells you something went on with Carmella. Because Carmella and Chelsea Green were supposed to be a team, so Sonya Deville was a sub for that match.

Hopefully, Carmella isn’t dealing with anything terrible that will keep her out of action for long. She’s been through a lot over the past year, and missing WrestleMania probably isn’t something she wants to happen at all.

We’ll have to see when Carmella shows up once again, but her team with Chelsea Green is apparently not going to carry on as we thought on the road to WrestleMania.

What’s your take on WWE replacing Chelsea Green’s partner? Is Sonya Deville a better fit than Carmella? Sound off in the comments!
