AEW has a lot of things going on, and sadly they must not get used to only having Nick Jackson around on the active roster. Matt Jackson injured his biceps, tearing the vital arm muscle, and now he’s out of action.

Matt Jackson’s last match was a big triple threat trios match against the Jericho Appreciation Society, and House of Black. Jackson’s team, The Elite, did not win the match as the House of Black retained. Sadly, Matt Jackson was injured early on into that contest, but he carried on despite the pain.

Behind Fightful’s paywall, Sean Sapp noted that Matt Jackson’s injury is legit. He will also miss a very long stretch of time from the ring.

We can confirm Matt Jackson has a legit injury. We’re told that he will miss quite a bit of time, and was not at last week’s AEW Dynamite.

Hopefully, Matt Jackson’s injury isn’t so severe that it alters a ton of plans. Any time off television for 1/2 of the Young Bucks is still not something that AEW needs right now. Obviously, this kind of injury can never be predicted, so they are forced to go with the flow.

It was previously noted that Matt Jackson will not need surgery for his torn biceps injury. That being said, his injury recovery time might take a bit of waiting for fans of the Jackson Brothers.

What’s your take on this unexpected AEW injry? Should he have left the match whenever he was injured instead of gutting it through? Sound off in the comments!
