WWW has a long history of inducting big names into their Hall of Fame. Now one more legend is joining that illustrious list of names as Stacy Keibler is set for a Hall of Fame induction this year.

The former Duchess of Dudleyville rose to popularity in WWE, thanks to many things. Stacy Keibler’s legs were also a key aspect of her WWE character for a time, even becoming the focus of her WWE entrance music.

It was previously reported that Stacy Keibler will receive a spot in the WWE Hall of Fame, but it wasn’t confirmed. Now, it appears that she has accepted the honor.

People Magazine received the exclusive news on Stacy Keibler’s WWE Hall of Fame induction. While speaking to the outlet, she was more than proud of this big honor.

“I never thought I would be in the Hall of Fame, to be honest. I was completely shocked when I got the call. I had tears in my eyes. My husband’s coming, my husband’s family’s coming, my family, my kids. We have friends coming from L.A., from Austin. So it’s really exciting because a lot of these people didn’t get to see me in action. I get tears in my eyes every time. How am I going to keep it together? I got to keep it together.

“The fans are the ones that made it possible. I owe so much to them for getting me to this point in my career. I’ve spent time just reflecting, and I feel so lucky to have this extraordinary time with the organization, the community, but most of all the fans. And it’s shaped my life, and there’s nothing else that can get me more excited in the exact same way as being live in front of the WWE fans. Their passion is contagious. So I’m just so excited.”

We will have to see who inducts Stacy Keibler into the WWE Hall of Fame. This year’s class will be a smaller one, with only Andy Kaufman, The Great Muta, and Andy Kaufman being announced along with this latest addition.

Keep checking back with Ringisde News for more on this, and everything else going on in the pro wrestling world as we round the final corner on the road to WrestleMania.
