You never know when an injury can creep up when it is least expected. AEW wrestlers are not immune to injuries in the ring, as their locker room is full of trips to the trainers’ office. Now, we have another possible injury to report.

Action Andretti was placed in a high-profile feud with Chris Jericho, and immediately gained attention by beating The Wizard. It seems that his momentum might have been halted after this recent Dark taping event at Universal Studios.

During the recent set of AEW Dark tapings, Slim J faced Action Andretti in singles competition. Sadly, that match did not end as anyone intended.

Jacob Cohen, who frequently attends AEW Dark tapings and reports on them, noted on Twitter that Action Andretti might have suffered a concussion during his match. It was subsequently called off.

The match has been called off, there is a medic in the ring checking on Action Andretti, maybe a concussion?

Another fan at the event also provided another scary detail about this situation. It was said that, “His leg was twitching, I hope he’s ok. Glad he was able to walk out assisted.”

We will have to see how Action Andretti is in the upcoming weeks. Hopefully, this was just a scare and nothing more than that. He certainly has a lot of potential in Tony Khan’s company and was being set up for big things.

What’s your take on this situation? Do AEW wrestlers get injured more frequently than in WWE? Sound off in the comments!
