WWE NXT is home to incredibly-talented performers who are learning to become future main rosters superstars under the watchful eye of Shawn Michaels and his team. The white and gold brand is also home to backstage correspondent McKenzie Mitchell. Tonight, WWE NXT saw the debut of a new backstage correspondent.

The latest edition of WWE NXT featured a segment between The Schism (Joe Gacy, Ava Raine, Jagger Reid, and Rip Fowler) and Chase U (Andre Chase, Duke Hudson, Thea Hail, and Tyler Bate). The two sides came face-to-face in a “Great Debate” moderated by Blake Howard.

Vic Joseph noted that the segment marked Howard’s debut as NXT newest backstage correspondent. For those wondering, Howard does commentary alongside Byron Saxton on NXT Level Up. He was hired by WWE in February 2023.

The former Blake Chadwick has previously worked with promotions like Coastal Championship Wrestling, Only Stars Pro Wrestling, West Coast Wrestling Connection, and Combat Fights Unlimited, to name a few.
