WWE has a lot of Superstars on their roster, and there isn’t time every week for everyone to get a big spotlight. That being said, plans for a Superstar getting that time in the spotlight can always change as well.

Sean Sapp reported behind Fightful’s paywall that Carmella was pulled from this weekend’s house shows. A reason wasn’t given for this call, but the plan is for her to continue her no-screen alliance with Chelsea Green.

Carmella was off this weekend’s house shows as well. The plan had been to continue with she and Chelsea Green, but the decision was made over the weekend to replace her with Piper Niven. Nobody we spoke to had an update.

Carmella just returned from a hiatus, and she was getting back into the swing of things. We’ll have to see how long she is out of action, but it seems that WWE has plans for her to continue in her current direction.

Chelsea Green’s new Karen gimmick really opened the doors for a new possibility on WWE television. It’s a newer idea, and Carmella seemed to compliment the character in a big way. Hopefully, we will see more of the twosome as they continue tormenting Adam Pearce down the line.

What’s your take on Carmella’s return to WWE television? Does she have another title run in her? Sound off in the comments!
