Mysterio Family Set To Appear On WWE SmackDown

Rey Mysterio is all set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2023. The biggest little man of all time was the first inductee announced this year. Moreover, Rey Mysterio has been a fan-favorite since his WWE debut in 2002, and he went on to become a three-time World Champion within the company. Apparently, during this special phase, his family is scheduled to appear on this week’s Smackdown.

Rey Mysterio’s recent WWE run has been nothing short of a roller-coaster ride. Throughout this run he has had some major highlights of his career which include his 2018 Royal Rumble Return, hitting double 619 to Brock Lesnar along with his son Dominik, becoming the first father-son duo to win a Tag-Team Championship in WWE history, and sadly it all the ended with him being betrayed by his own son Dominik Mysterio.

This past week at RAW, it was announced that the 2023 WWE Hall of Famer, will appear on this week’s SmackDown with his wife Angie and daughter Aliyah. Furthermore, his son-turned-foe Dominik Mysterio was also confirmed for the show.

Since WWE SummerSlam 2022, Dominik Mysterio has left no stone unturned in an attempt to hurt his father. He has laid his hands on him on multiple occasions alongside his Judgement Day cohorts, especially his “Mami” Rhea Ripley. All fans eagerly wait for Rey Mysterio to finally get revenge on his son with both father and son rumored to go one-on-one at WrestleMania 39.

Recently, Dominik Mysterio defeated Johnny Gargano on Monday’s RAW, and he then made it known that he will go on SmackDown to beg his mother for approval to participate in the WrestleMania 39 bout with his father. Dominik has been defying his father for weeks, but Rey Mysterio has consistently declined, since he claims that would be a disgrace to him as a father. We will have to wait and see what happens this week on the blue brand. Here is the updated card for this week’s SmackDown:
