WWE Main Roster Superstar Teases NXT Return

WWE’s developmental brand has seen a ton of future Superstars make their way through the Performance Center. A few of them even returned for another run in NXT. We might just see the return of another Superstar soon enough.

Wes Lee is the current NXT North American Champion, and he’s having quite a run. The former MSK member opened up a challenge for anyone who’s feeling froggy, and it was heard throughout WWE.

Cedric Alexander logged onto Twitter, and he threw out a tweet to let Wes Lee know that he heard about his open challenge. It turns out that he knows exactly where the WWE Performance Center is.

Cedric Alexander hasn’t done much of anything since the Hurt Business broke up. A return to NXT, if even for one match, would certainly give him something to do. It would also supply him with a big pop, because any WWE main roster talent is greeted with a pop in the PC.

We’ll have to see what’s next for Cedric Alexander, because Hurt Business reunion is always a possibility as well. Until that happens, he might just pop into NXT to see what Wes Lee is all about.
