WWE NXT has an incredibly-talented roster filled with superstars with diverse backgrounds. Some of these superstars have managed to impress the management with their incredible athletic prowess and character work. That said, some have struggled to find their footing on the brand with one star in particular reportedly on their way out.

Sarray joined WWE NXT after a long delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. She underwent a gimmick change as soon as she arrived in WWE’s developmental brand. Sarray struggled to find her footing in NXT. Now, she’s set to leave the company altogether.

Tokyo Sports is reporting that Sarray will leave WWE NXT following the expiration of her contract. The report notes that the 26-year-old will return to Japan to resume her in-ring career. Moreover, she’ll once again take up her original ring name after she returns to her home country.

Sarray will return to in-ring action in her original “Sareee” moniker at the Tokyo/ Shinjuku Face Tournament “Sareee-ISM” on May 16th. A press conference is set for May 13th to elaborate on her future in-ring commitments.

Sareee will hold a press conference on the 13th to announce the resumption of activities in Japan.

Sarray hasn’t wrestled on WWE NXT since August 2022. Her last match on the brand was against former NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose. Sarray lost the match that aired on August 2, 2022.

It’s unfortunate to see a incredibly-talented performer in Sarray leave WWE NXT. That said, the creative never really knew how to utilize her to the best of her abilities in the first place. Stay tuned to Ringside News for more from the world of pro wrestling.
