Zelina Vega Overjoyed That WWE Backlash Will Be Held In Puerto Rico

Zelina Vega’s growth over the past couple of years has been remarkable, to say the least. Following her WWE return, Vega went on a hiatus again because of an injury. That being said, Vega stayed relevant due to her excellent presence on social media. WWE will be holding a major event in Puerto Rico soon and now it seems Zelina Vega has reacted to the same.

WWE announced that Backlash is coming to Puerto Rico on May 6. Puerto Rico is outside the traditional 50 states in America, but it is a US territory. This will be the event directly after WrestleMania 39.

For those who don’t remember, the subject of international events was brought to Triple H’s attention at the post-WWE Survivor Series: WarGames press conference.

After that, The Game advised the WWE Universe to stay tuned for Puerto Rico during the event. Zelina Vega then made it clear that she would love for WWE event to be held in Puerto Rico.

In light of WWE’s announcement, Zelina Vega took to her Instagram and made it clear that she wants to compete at the Backlash event, which will be held in Puerto Rico in May.

Zelina Vega has been very open about winning a major singles title in WWE. We will have to wait and see if Vega will be able to compete at Backlash in some way or the other.
