After MJF defeated Bryan Danielson at AEW Revolution, he was spotted walking with the assistance of a crutch at the media scrum. This was very interesting, but he blamed it on an old football injury.

Sean Sapp reported behind Fightful’s paywall that MJF actually walked into that AEW Revolution match with a bit of an issue. He was still “banged up” from his brawl a couple of weeks ago.

We’ll have to see when MJF wrestles again. He has a reputation of making himself a special attraction, so it might be a while until the Salt of the Earth even needs to worry about another match. In the meantime, that won’t break his spirit at all, because MJF is still himself, only he’s a World Champion, so that only dials up the volume a few hundred notches.
