Fans eagerly anticipating Ronda Rousey’s return to WWE were disappointed to hear that a highly anticipated tag team match featuring the former champion had been nixed from the upcoming edition of SmackDown. Despite this setback, reports now suggest that Rousey may still make an appearance on the show in some form.

Ronda Rousey was originally scheduled to tag with Shayna Baszler in a match against Tegan Nox and Natalya on this week’s installment of WWE SmackDown. WWE, however, pulled Ronda from the matchup for undisclosed reasons.

Sean Sapp, a journalist behind the Fightful paywall, recently released an update on the whereabouts of Ronda Rousey. According to his report, Rousey, along with Natalya, are confirmed to make an appearance on tonight’s show.

Although Ronda Rousey was originally set to tag with Shayna Baszler for a match on WWE SmackDown this week, WWE has since pulled her from the matchup for undisclosed reasons. Whether or not she will wrestle remains to be seen, but rumors suggest that Ronda is pushing for a tag title program with Shayna as her partner.
