Kevin Owens is still on top of his game and heading into another WrestleMania with a big match in sight. He is featured on the WrestleMania poster for a reason, the same poster that gave away John Cena plans. Kevin Owens is different from any other Superstar, and his appearance isn’t the only thing that sets him apart. Still, it wouldn’t be advisable for that aspect to change either.

Kevin Owens has been compared to Steve Austin in a few ways over the years. Not only did they share that WrestleMania moment, but Owens also uses the Stunner, a move that Austin gave him permission to adopt. Kevin Owens is an “every man,” and his appeal is obviously working.

Chris Van Vliet recently sat down with Bully Ray, who praised Kevin Owens in a huge way. Bully Ray went on to say that Kevin Owens doesn’t need to have a six-pack or a tan, because the presentation we see today is exactly what got him over.

“I’m just saying if you’re good at what you do – people can relate to all shapes and sizes. Kevin Owens, I don’t think Kevin knows anybody named Jim, let alone go to one [gym]. But he doesn’t have to. I don’t want Kevin Owens to go to the gym, I don’t want Kevin Owens to tan. Because the Kevin Owens that got over and works to the degree that he works, main eventing one night of WrestleMania against [Stone Cold Steve] Austin? He didn’t need to go to a gym and didn’t have to tan, so don’t start now.”

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn very well could take on The Usos at WrestleMania with the Unified Tag Team Titles on the line. Only time will tell how this situation pans out, but Kevin Owens will continue with a full head of steam for the foreseeable future.
