Sonya Deville was a regular on WWE television for a while, as an authority figure. This came after a long stint away from the company, because she had to deal with a nightmarish stalker situation. She made her return to the ring, but now she has another obstacle ahead of her. Deville is making headlines for another reason, and it is due to the fact that she wanted to stay protected.

Sonya Deville was arrested in New Jersey on a firearms charge. She had a firearm in her vehicle, and did not have a proper permit for it. TMZ reports that the incident occurred on February 19th.

The report further noted that Sonya Deville is in the process of getting this charge thrown out. She also started packing a gun with her after that terrible home invasion in 2020.

Gun laws in America are very tricky, and you must pay attention to each state’s specific guidelines. Hopefully, Sonya Deville will get this situation taken care of swiftly, and she won’t miss any time from the road.

It was further noted on that, “WWE sources indicated there was no heat on Sonya Deville, with the understanding of why she would want to protect herself following the stalker and home invasion situation.”

In another update about Sonya Deville, she recently proposed marriage to her long-time girlfriend, and she said yes.

We will keep our eye on this situation. Obviously, there is a lot more to unpack. Keep an eye with us at Ringside News for more on this still-developing story.
