Orange Cassidy and Danhausen replaced Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Beretta) in the Casino Tag Team Battle Royale tonight on AEW Dynamite. Now, the duo have a shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

Lucha Brothers, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta, Top Flight (Dante & Darius Martin), RUSH and Perro Peligroso, The Butcher and The Blade, Aussie Open, 2point0, The Kingdom (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett), Dark Order (John Silver & Alex Reynolds), and Orange Cassidy and Danhausen participated in the Casino Tag Team Battle Royale.

The match was originally supposed to feature Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta), but they weren’t medically cleared to compete after they were assaulted by The Gunns and Big Bill last week on Rampage. Orange Cassidy and Danhausen replaced Best Friends in the battle royale.

Silver and Reynolds made their entrance first, but were attacked by Castagnoli and Yuta before the even got the chance to enter the ring. RUSH and Perro Peligroso were the third team to enter the match. Rey Fenix and Penta made their entrance next, with Fenix immediately taking out Yuta and Reynolds with a top rope cross body.

Aussie Open (Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher) headed to the ring next. Dark Order were the first team to be eliminated from the battle royale. Their elimination was followed by 2point0 and Top Flight’s entry. The Kingdom entered next. Danhausen who made their entrance as the second last time won the match after they eliminated The Butcher and The Blade.

Danhausen and Orange Cassidy will take on The Acclaimed, Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal, and defending champions The Gunns in a fatal four-way match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship at the Revolution pay-per-view event this Sunday.
