WWE held their Elimination Chamber pay-per-view this week, and there are a lot of questions coming out of the big event. A lot of fans would like to see Sami Zayn continue his quest to take Roman Reigns’ titles after a hard-fought loss in Montreal, but that doesn’t seem to be the plan.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer made it clear that WWE had no plan to insert Sami Zayn into the Undisputed Universal Title match at WrestleMania. Right now, that is still planned to be a singles contest between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes.

I know what the plan was as of, even a week ago, and it was Roman and Cody. It’s not Sami being thrown in. Could they do it? They could always change. I thought, watching the Cody interview with Sami, ‘why not make it a three-way?’

Right now, there are no plans to turn the WrestleMania main event into a three-way situation. If anything, this opens up even more questions on the road to WrestleMania. Of course, with Kevin Owens coming out to save Sami Zayn during the closing moments of Elimination Chamber, it appears that will be a big part of WWE’s plan for the grandest stage of them all this year.

We will have to see what the road to WrestleMania brings us, because we certainly didn’t see these developments coming. Keep it tuned right here with Ringside News for more.
