Sami Zayn has been staple of the WWE for nearly a decade, consistently pushing himself to new heights. Throughout his tenure, he has demonstrated an uncanny ability to transform every gimmick he’s given into a smashing success, most recently exemplified by his portrayal of The Bloodline. The storyline is the biggest in WWE right now and it seems Vince McMahon has creative input on it.

Sami Zayn’s ongoing storyline with The Bloodline is one of the most significant and captivating in the entire WWE. The tension reached a boiling point during the Royal Rumble event, where Zayn’s shocking betrayal of Roman Reigns resulted in a brutal and unforgettable beatdown.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, it was reported that Vince McMahon has creative input on the storyline between Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn right now.

“It’s Paul Levesque (Triple H) and Vince. Vince does have input into this one. He definitely does. But still, in theory, it’s Paul’s decision.”

Sami Zayn is back to being the main underdog once again and now the fans are clearly behind her. In fact, the massive crowd reaction he received during Friday Night Smackdown showed he has a world of momentum behind him.

Roman Reigns will defend his WWE Undisputed Universal Championship against Sami Zayn at the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event. We will have to wait and see how Zayn will fare in the match.

Vince McMahon’s return to WWE’s Board of Directors was to facilitate a company sale. He is not involved in the company’s creative direction, but Roman Reigns’ situation might be a very rare exception.
