Cody Rhodes is set for the biggest match of his career as he takes on Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Universal Title at WrestleMania 39. Of course, tonight’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view could change all that, but it is very likely that the American Nightmare and Tribal Chief will throw down during the WrestleMania 39 main event.

TMZ recently caught up with Cody Rhodes to ask him how he’s feeling. Cody was quick to admit that he has a “tall task” ahead of him against the Head of the Tale.

I hope I’m the one [to end the streak] if I’m in the spot. I don’t wanna get the cart before the horse. I’m really excited, again I have no frame of reference for this far, this long. Again, I just flew over the stadium, so I just want everyone to have a good time.

Cody Rhodes went on to say that beating Roman Reigns would be an “odd sense of closure, closure for Dusty, closure to me, and looking forward to something new. Again, it’s a tall task. This guy’s beat everybody.”

“If you’re in the spot you want to make sure you get the job done,” Cody Rhodes continued. He then went on to explain how excited he is about the big WrestleMania match, but he isn’t going to let his emotions take control right now.

This will give Cody Rhodes a chance to write his own chapter in pro wrestling. Only time will tell how it all turns out in the end, but we will be with you every step of the way, right here at Ringside News.
