Paul Heyman has been one of the most well-known and established names in the pro wrestling world for decades. His mind for the industry is truly genius, as Heyman truly understands the business. In fact, even Jim Cornette believes Heyman could have controlled the AEW locker room better than Tony Khan has.

No one can deny the fact that Paul Heyman is one of the best talkers on the microphone. The Bloodline’s Wise Man also founded ECW, and his love for the business is truly second to none as well.

AEW has been subjected to a lot of controversy thanks to the myriad of backstage issues plaguing the company since last year. Many people have felt that Tony Khan simply isn’t equipped to handle all the issues with the company.

While speaking on The Jim Cornette Experience, Jim Cornette compared Tony Khan to Paul Heyman and stated that he believes Paul Heyman could have handled AEW’s backstage issues much better than Tony Khan.

“I don’t think anybody is going to accuse Tony of being a crook or a manipulative, you know, like a Paul Heyman figure that’s manipulating everybody from behind the scenes for his own selfish purposes. He is not that person, he is not that smart. That’s why he is where he’s at because he came into wrestling thinking all these guys were going to be his friends because he is giving ’em jobs and everybody’s going to be happy with each other because everyboy enjoys each other in the wrestling business.”

We will have to wait and see what Tony Khan has planned for the company in the coming months. That being said, the situation in AEW will continue grabbing headlines as TK continues bringing fans stories from his pro wrestling company.
