The wrestling world was shocked when Vince McMahon announced his comeback as executive chairman of the WWE. It was later reported that McMahon’s return to the company was to get the nest deal for the sale of the WWE. Many Superstars were concerned that Vince McMahon’s return would see him take over the creative aspect of the company. However, Triple H assured the wrestlers that McMahon’s return wouldn’t affect the creative side of the company. After all, few on the roster desire a repeat of Vince McMahon’s last tenure, and Malakai Black can attest to that, even though he is no longer with the company.

Things have been running quite smoothly under the Triple H regime and since McMahon announced his retirement last year. However, after his comeback, it now seems that he doesn’t want to slow down. It has been rumored that Vince McMahon has been making suggestions for the creative aspect of the company.

Over the last several years of his tenure as the chairman of the company, Vince McMahon was criticized for his several decisions regarding the creative aspect of the company and booking of several wrestlers. Many wrestlers walked out of the company due to lack of creative freedom under the McMahon regime.

Former WWE Superstar Malakai Black, who was released in June 2021 has now made some positive remarks about his former boss. In recent appearance on the Hardlore Music Podcast, Black disclosed that Vince McMahon, who often doesn’t speak to talents for longer than five minutes, was kind to him and engaged in a 45-minute conversation.

“I had a whole talk with Vince. This was in the COVID era. To make a very long story short, Vince was like, ‘We gotta do something with you.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, no s***.’ We had a 45-minute conversation. It was kind of unheard of because Vince usually didn’t talk [to people longer than] five or 10 minutes. He really took the time,”

Malakai Black is currently signed to AEW and also wrestles around the independent circuit. McMahon’s last televised appearance was in June of last year. He also wrestled his last match at WrestleMania 38. With this year’s WrestleMania around the corner, fans can expect McMahon to appear at the grandest stage of them all.
