WWE is going Hollywood for WrestleMania 39, and this will be an epic event. As a callback to the last time the company took WrestleMania to Hollywood, they are also doing a handful of movie parodies. Now we have spoilers about who got which roles. This goes without saying, but consider this a massive spoiler warning.
Wrestle Votes tweeted out to drop some big spoilers about those WrestleMania promos. They listed the people who were cast for which movie parodies, and which movies the company will draw inspiration from this time around.
You can check out the spoilers below. There is a good assortment, but the Bloodline recreating Goodfellas might just take the cake.
I’m told the list below are the planned “WrestleMania Goes Hollywood” movie trailers:
Miz & Maryse: Top Gun
Rhea / Judgment Day: Stranger Things
Brawling Brutes & Drew McIntyre: 40 Year Old Virgin
Becky & Seth Rollins: Batman & Joker
The Bloodline: Goodfellas
We will have to see when WWE airs these movie parody promos. They are still reminding fans about those promos from WrestleMania 21 as segments starring Superstars from that era have been appearing on WWE programming in recent weeks.
The road to WrestleMania will be an exciting one, and this is just another addition to the list of things to look forward to. In the meantime, keep checking back with Ringside News for more.
