The Hurt Business made significant progress during their time in WWE, elevating the careers of its members – Bobby Lashley, MVP, Cedric Alexander, and Shelton Benjamin. However, as is often the case for WWE stables, the group disbanded in 2021 during an episode of Monday Night RAW. Now it seems MVP is trying his best for a reunion.

Even Roman Reigns believed that the breakup of The Hurt Business was premature. The stable did have a short-lived reunion, but eventually disbanded for good, leaving fans with no hope for their return.

Bobby Lashley previously said the breakup ‘hurt his heart.’ In addition to that, Bobby Lashley also promised a Hurt Business reunion. WWE has continued to drop hints regarding the faction’s return on Monday Night RAW in the past couple of weeks.

While speaking with Josh Martinez of Superstar Crossover, MVP was asked about Vince McMahon’s decision to split up the faction. MVP made it clear that he is trying his best for a reunion.

“Vince McMahon makes decisions and that’s way above my pay grade. The decision that he made. Why did he choose to do it? I have no idea. It was his choice, he’s the boss, well at the time, he was the boss and that’s just how things go. We were all scratching our heads but at the end of the day, I’m doing my best to try to get the team back together. Bobby’s being a little stubborn, but I got Shelton and Cedric back on board with me and I’m trying to get Bobby to come around. We’ll see if we can get The Hurt Business back in business.”

The Hurt Business’ return is not confirmed yet either. We will have to wait and see whether fans will get to see The Hurt Business reunite once again in the future.
