Lance Archer was once thought to be on his way to the top of AEW, but then he stalled and disappeared. It didn’t help that he suffered a concussion, and that cost him valuable time from the ring. It appears that he’s ready to go now, but he’s not getting the chance to perform.

The Murderhawk Monster last wrestled at the NJPW Road To Tokyo Dome event on December 12th when members of Suzuki-Gun competed against each other in an eight-man tag team match. Archer was on the losing team with El Desperado, Minoru Suzuki, and TAKA Michinoku. As of this writing, he has not appeared on AEW television since November.

Archer tweeted out to make it 100% clear that his AEW absence is not his fault. This tweet does not seem to be in reply to anyone, so he just felt compelled to let everyone know this information.

NOT by choice!

It’s been June since Lance Archer appeared on AEW Dynamite. It’s unclear why he’s not being used, but Tony Khan has a few people on his roster, including Andrade, Miro, and Archer, that are drastically underutilized.

We will have to see if Lance Archer shows up once again. Until then, keep checking back with Ringside News for more.
