For the past couple of years, WWE has released numerous Superstars from their contracts under Vince McMahon’s leadership. Fans simply couldn’t believe the company could release anyone during the COVID-19 pandemic, which they felt was a horrible thing to do. This included former WWE star Ezra Judge. In fact, Judge, who now goes by the name EJ Nduka, was offered an AEW contract recently.

EJ Nduka was blindsided by his WWE release back in 2021, but everything in WWE changed after Triple H took over as head of Creative. It was even said that WWE was interested in re-hiring him.

This week’s episode of AEW Dark episode saw Nduka make his debut for the company, as he squared off against Konosuke Takeshita. However, Nduka was unable to win his debut match.

According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Nduka was presented with a full-time contract offer by AEW following his match. It is currently unknown if Nduka has accepted the offer, but the possibility remains open as the contract has been extended to him.

Nduka’s contract with MLW recently expired last month, yet he remains the reigning one-half of the MLW World Tag Team Champions alongside Calvin Tankman. In the upcoming airing of their match against Juicy Finau and Lance Anoa’i of The Samoan SWAT Team, Nduka will bid farewell to the company in his final performance. We’ll have to see what will become of Nduka in the end.
