The Acclaimed (Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) put their AEW World Tag Team Championship on the line against The Gunns tonight on Dynamite. The two teams squared off the in then main event of the show.

The closing moments of the match saw the referee get knocked out. Austin Gunn tried to take advantage of the opportunity by bringing the championship strap to the ring. Billy Gunn showed up but was knocked out by his own flesh and blood.

Anthony Bowens tried to pin Colten Gunn, who kicked out, allowing Austin Gunn to hit the one-half The Acclaimed with the title. Colten Gunn picked Anthony Bowens for the decisive win.

Billy Gunn had given his sons a shot at the tag team titles last week on Dynamite. Daddy Ass and The Gunns got into verbal confrontation that led to heel team getting the title opportunity without The Acclaimed’s approval.
