CM Punk may not be around wrestling programming lately but the Best in the World surely likes to keep his presence active around the fans. Punk was last seen back at AEW: All Out and has since been out of action due to an injury and the fiasco that went down with The Elite post the media scrum. However, it looks like his beloved tree at home is finally been taken down.

CM Punk and his dog, Larry are known to be closer than ever. However, the duo was seemingly outvoted on a certain matter by Punk’s wife and the potential head of the house, AJ Lee. Punk announced that his Christmas tree was being taken down on his Instagram story.

“Larry and I wish the tree to remain up but have somehow been outvoted 2-1 @theajmendez.”

CM Punk had been away from the wrestling world for nearly seven years. That drought finally came to end in 2021 when the Voice of the Voiceless signed with AEW and made his debut on the episode of AEW Rampage: The First Dance in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois.

The Best in the World looked to regain his position as main-eventer in the land of All Elite. That motivation led to CM Punk winning the AEW World championship on two different occasions and battling some of the top young talents in the business.

However, CM Punk has been off AEW programming ever since he got into a real-life backstage altercation with Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks. This happened right after Punk made negative remarks about the trio on the AEW All Out media scrum.

CM Punk was suspended for his actions and there is no word on if he would return to AEW, while also dealing with an injury he suffered at the All Out event last year. Check back at Ringside News to stay updated on this story.
