Logan Paul rose to fame through his work as a YouTuber and later as a professional boxer. He has since become a prominent figure in the WWE and has had a successful run in the ring, having high-profile matches with The Miz and Roman Reigns. He had a solid performance at the Royal Rumble, especially one amazing spot with Ricochet. It seems WWE was unaware that this particular spot was not the first time it ever happened in pro wrestling.

Logan Paul’s performance in the Royal Rumble received widespread praise from fans and critics alike, with many noting his improved in-ring abilities. This has led many to speculate about his future in WWE and whether he will become a full-time wrestler. Only time will tell, but one thing’s for sure: Logan Paul has definitely made his mark on the wrestling world.

It was an exciting moment in the Royal Rumble match and demonstrated the high level of athleticism and showmanship that both Ricochet and Paul bring to the ring. The crowd was clearly entertained by the spectacle, making it a memorable moment in WWE history.

Dave Meltzer, in the current Wrestling Observer Newsletter, noted that Logan Paul and Ricochet’s spot was not the first time something of that sort was done in pro wrestling.

He and Ricochet were on the ring apron on opposite sides of the ring, looked at each other and both did a springboard into the ring and flew halfway across the ring where they collided. I had never seen that spot before, but it’s a lock that on independent shows and Lucha Libre shows we’ll be seeing it. I was told the spot actually did take place once, about 17 or 18 years ago, on a U.S. independent show. But it was so obscure that few knew it and WWE and the two of them may not have known it.

There is also the belief that Logan Paul is head and shoulders above many guys in WWE. We will have to wait and see what the company has planned for The Maverick, as we approach WrestleMania 39.
