Wardlow had his ponytail chopped off by Samoa Joe on the December 28, 2022, edition of Wednesday Night Dynamite. Mr. Mayhem returned to exact revenge on his former tag team partner tonight.

Samoa Joe took on Darby Allin for the TNT Championship in the main even of Dynamite this week. The two squared off in a No Holds Barred match. Joe defeated Darby with an avalanche muscle buster.

Wardlow made his surprise return to ruin the champion’s celebration. The former TNT Champion laid out Samoa Joe. Wardlow attempted a powerbomb, but Joe escaped in the nick of time. Mr. Mayhem then took out his anger on the ringside officials.

For those wondering, Wardlow was written off from AEW television due to an injury. This was the reason he dropped the TNT title to Samoa Joe in the first place. It remains to be seen if Mr. Mayhem will get his title back from Joe.
