WWE’s next premium live event is going down on February 18th in Quebec. With the road to WrestleMania heating up, you never know what can happen. It turns out that WWE has a big plan for the final pay-per-view before WrestleMania 39.

Sami Zayn became one of the biggest stars in WWE in the past year thanks to his organic growth because of The Bloodline storyline. Now it seems Zayn will be facing Roman Reigns at WWE Elimination Chamber after what transpired at the Royal Rumble event.

Sami Zayn’s story arc with “The Bloodline” has been unfolding for several months and has quickly become one of the most intricate and expertly crafted storylines in recent memory.

After several months of development, it all came ahead to the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event. After Roman Reigns retained his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Kevin Owens at the event, he ordered Sami Zayn to finish off Kevin Owens.

However, Sami Zayn would turn on Roman Reigns and hit him with a chair. Afterwards, Zayn was systematically destroyed by The Bloodline, except for Jey Uso, who left the scene and wanted no part of the carnage.

During the latest Wrestling Observer Daily Update, Dave Meltzer revealed that Roman Reigns vs Sami Zayn is ‘as confirmed as it can be’ for the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event.

“Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn is now as confirmed as it can be for the 2/18 Elimination Chamber show main event in Montreal.

I’m not sure what the men’s chamber match would be for since you’ve got Cody Rhodes already for the main event at WrestleMania. Of course this is WWE and everything is subject to change, but major changes to planned PPV shows have been less with Paul Levesque in charge.

There were strong rumors that the match would happen at the February 18th live event, with Elimination Chamber held at Bell Centre in Quebec, Canada – Zayn’s hometown. We’ll have to wait and see how the feud will be booked in the coming weeks.
