Asuka is a highly respected member of the women’s division on Monday Night RAW. She has not only excelled on RAW during the pandemic, but also had a successful career in Japan before joining WWE. She was gone for a while but finally made her return during the Royal Rumble last night. She also reacted to her triumphant return.

Asuka had been absent from WWE television for well over a month, as she had teased going back to her old gimmick that she had in Japan, where she was known as Kana. She even went to Japan for that objective.

The Empress of Tomorrow made her shocking return during the Women’s Royal Rumble match, as she came out as the 17th entrant and cleaned house in a big way.

However, she was unable to win the match. Following the conclusion of the Royal Rumble, Asuka took to Twitter and broke her silence, stating that she made her fans keep on waiting for her return, in a reference to Metal Gear Solid V.

Fans certainly missed her as well. We will have to wait and see how Asuka will be booked now that she has returned to WWE after a long hiatus.
