Asuka Returns To Japan Amid WWE Gimmick Change Rumors

Asuka established herself as one of the most compelling in-ring stars in WWE, and there is good reason for that. For the past few weeks, Asuka’s fortunes have not shined in the way she would have liked. In fact, Asuka even recently hinted at taking a hiatus from WWE, and now we know why. Asuka has now returned to Japan to look for something she seemingly forgot.

For the past couple of weeks, Asuka has teased going back to her old gimmick in Japan, where she was known as Kana. Asuka even announced taking break from WWE after losing to Rhea Ripley on RAW this week.

Asuka took to her YouTube Channel and uploaded a video, in which Asuka detailed her journey from Chicago to Tokyo, where she eventually reached Osaka. Asuka noted she went back to Osaka in search of something she forgot.

By the looks of it, it is very likely Asuka meant her old ring gear and face paint from her time as Kana in Japan. We will have to wait and see when Asuka will come back to WWE as Kana. Fans are certainly excited to see Asuka’s return.
